Here’s a quick recipe to keep you in the wassail spirit all winter long. Sure, you could whip up a batch of wonderfully smelling, fresh wassail in a big pot. Great for parties. I love me some good wassail. But since I am the only one who likes it, I need something of the more instant variety so I can make myself a cup at any time. Enter Wassail Mix. Put this together once and keep it stored with your hot chocolate stash. I once gave out little jars of it for my neighbors at Christmas time with only good reviews.

WASSAIL MIX

1 C of Tang drink mix
1 1/2 C powdered lemonade drink mix (like Country Time)
2 C sugar
2 tsp ground cinnamon
2 tsp ground cloves
Mix all ingredients. Add 2-3 Tablespoons to 1 Cup hot water.
