“Je suis un ananas” means “I am a pineapple” and it’s from the show with the scary puppets “Télèfrançais.” Man, that took me back to jr. high.

Aw…Richie, saying that Brianne talks “stupid” seemed kind of mean, especially when you tried to go back on it and said that you wanted to “recount” that statement when you probably should’ve said “recant.” Way to support your panelists.

The interview with Brother Evans was great. I’m not familiar with his books outside of the Christmas one, but I thought he had a lot of interesting things to say and I appreciated his honesty about his marriage. I’m glad he and his wife worked things out so well.

Not that this is the Breanne show, but when referring to Breanne’s accent and manner of speaking, the word you were scrambling for, Richie, was ‘provincial’, not ‘stupid’.

Great podcast. I’ve never read any of Evans’ books, but I love his sense of humor about himself as shown on that one radio station (I forget the name, but they have that one morning show with those one guys). My wife and one daughter (so far) read just about everything he writes.

This was a very well done interview. It was neat to hear Richard Paul Evans talk so personally and honestly. Thank you for posting!

I really enjoyed this podcast. I was a kid in Utah when “The Christmas Box” hit it big. I remember thinking that Richard Paul Evans was Richard Thomas- and thought so until this podcast.

Also enjoyed what he said about marriage! Really a great episode.
