Heavenly Father had a LOT of Fun this week watching us have so much fun!  The Lord blessed us with 20 lessons and 5 new investigators, and we feel so completely humbled!  So I’m just going to throw out all of the miracles.  They might not make sense, but I’ll try to do my best to make them work. 😉

Tuesday- A Less-Active girl that we called 3 weeks ago told us that she wasn’t ready to come back to church, but she was glad that we told her where the institute building was.  We promised her peace and comfort if she continued to read the Book Of Mormon, even if she felt like she wasn’t ready for church yet.  WELL GUESS WHAT?! Yet another miracle caused from the BOM!  She texted us and said, “Hey, when can I meet with you?  My boyfriend has some questions about the church!” WHHAAA?! That’s right.  So we of course dropped everything and ran to the institute building.  Blake W. is her bf’s name and is agnostic.  It was perfect timing because everyone was having Family Home evening with the YSA from the University.  There was a man who knew Sara and came to the lesson with us.  He said he’d be baptised if he could just get an answer from Heavenly Father.  He has been studying the Plan of Salvation on Mormon.org for hours and weeks. Sheesh! He definitely came to church yesterday too!! 🙂 🙂

Met with other less-actives in Nevada, (prounounced NaVAYduh) for some reason….Iowans are so funny! And a girl was there who hasn’t met with Sister Missionaries ever.  She completely rejected us at first, but we read with her friend and at the end, she asked for a Book of Mormon!! 🙂 🙂 🙂

Woah. Wednesday!!–Exchanges in our area! yes! We met with Becky.  I could go on and on about this Family–I LOVE THEM SO MUCH!! Words can’t describe! The Bennetts are living in a trailor that doesn’t have walls. Bro. Bennett is just getting back into the church and has long hair with tattoos, but is one of the most meek man I’ve ever met!!! It is an incredibly humble place to teach a lesson, but the spirit is always there.  We taught Becky about repentance and thru Christ we can be cleansed.  She has never smiled so much, although she cried… 😉 She used to be a meth addict, but has been clean for about 3 years.  So we told her how God will forgive all of that if she asks for it and becomes clean through baptism.  We commited her to get a babysitter and come to the chapel with us and ask for forgiveness.  Just lay out everything that you need from Christ.  She’s going to do it!  And it will help her so much!  We know it was an inspired comittment because when we left, Sister Browne and I said, “Where’d that come from? Go to the chapel when noone is around?  It must be what she needs!” Met with another Boyfriend/Girlfriend combo who has a struggle praying.  She has a baptismal date now for December 14th. 🙂  YES!  Her name is Emily.  She also knows Ellen!  So everyone is so connected somehow!  Met with another LA who hasn’t been to church in years and who’s father is concerned for her.  She agreed to meet with us and was SO sweet.  It’s interesting how a lot of people become interested in the church again when they want to get married… 😉

Thursday-Mission Leadership Council in Iowa City!!  The Leader of Trainings and Provo MTC came to teach us! Wow, it was amazing! Of course, President Jensen called me up to the front to role play with him!  I feel like I always get called on to do the embarrassing stuff… hehe But it’s ok I love it! 😉 President is so inspired and adorable.  I’m so blessed to have recieved this training.

Friday, Saturday, and Sunday!–We were driving on the freeway and Sis. England yelled this name of a person I‘ve never met before! And hurried and got off the freeway.  We went to this house and knocked.  The spouse of the person she was thinking of was home and both of us had never met her before.  She is not a member of our church, but she let us right in and told us how she is not satisfied with where she is in life right now.  We took her on a church tour the next day, and she cried and said how thankful she was that we came to her door this weekend.  She told me she loved my makeup, so I told her that I’d do her makeup for her if she came to church! :)She told us she’d like to come to church with us, and a sweet member came to pick her and her Less Active husband up!  She did and we were SO happy.  Her name is Fern B., and the member’s name is Daisy!  Isn’t that the cutest? Fern and Daisy–like two plant names!  she is excited for the atonement to heal her broken heart. 🙂

We gave a zone meeting and we had non-stop lessons all morning so we basically had no time to prepare.  The spirit was amazing and helped us the whole time.  Thankfully!!! 🙂 🙂 🙂

Love you all so much!

The church is so solid.  I know that our Father in Heaven loves us.  If we can understand that concept, everything else about the Gospel makes sense!!!!!!!!
Loves,

The Happiest Missionary in the world–
Sister Tobias 😉 🙂 🙂 🙂 🙂
