I was born in the church, I went on a mission, I was disfellowshipped and this morning I went back to the temple for the first time in 4 years.
That is how Allison started her blog that has been spread across the internet since last Thursday.
So who is she? What led her away from the church and how did she find her way back?
Truly Allison is one of the most sincere and charismatic people that I have had the opportunity to interview. Her attitude toward the gospel is infectious and her understanding of compassion and love for everyone is unparalleled.

I wonder what I’m impressed with more, Allison for having the courage and energy to endure the process to get back into the church or the Cultural Hall podcast for doing such a great job discussing this situation. I’ll take the cowards way out and say both of you. But as I’ve never created a podcast and I have had the disembowelling experience of confessing misdeeds to a/many Bishops i’ll saw Allison. I hope my children will have the courage to do what you’ve done if they find themselves in your situation. In the end I know this… Its worth the effort. There is very little support or direction (at least before the internet) for the trip back but is definitely worth the effort.
