Michael Mercer was raised in Atlanta, Georgia, and served a full-time mission to the Philippine islands. He graduated with a B.F.A. in animation from BYU and has since worked in the entertainment industry as a concept artist, animator, and motion graphics artist.
My mission with From the Dust is to create “quality, affordable family media for Latter-day Saints worldwide.” I believe that everyone deserves a home filled with wholesome, educational, enriching media.

From the Dust provides quality family media at affordable prices. From the Dust is different, it’s innovative, and it requires the opening of the minds of Latter-day Saints to a new medium besides TV series and movies for family media. This “new” medium is the comic book series, reinvented for the next generation of Latter-day Saints: a generation that is multi-lingual, multi-racial, and multi-cultural.
