The cooler weather always makes me want to button up my coat and open up my heart. Food bank donations, Sub for Santa, Angel trees, etc. The joy and abundance of holiday celebrations helps us see how much we really have. And how much we have to give.

We at The Cultural Hall hope that as you look for ways to give this holiday season you’ll consider helping us as we team up with Rational Faiths to provide for the children of the Ta Khmau stake in Cambodia. Through the Liahona Children’s Foundation, we are adopting that stake, with a goal to raise at least $6,000, an amount deemed sufficient to provide the proper nutrition and education for the children in this poverty-stricken area. If lots of people donated a little, we would easily reach our goal.

Donations can be made online (CC or Paypal) or with a check in the mail. The Liahona Children’s Foundation is a federally-recognized non-profit organization.

Rational Faiths has provided a beautifully simple set of instructions of how to donate. You can find those HERE.

This would be a great opportunity to share with those who have so little. If you feel that you’ve been given much, please help us. This is more than just giving toys. It’s giving life.
