Branden Campbell of the NEON TREES meet The Cultural Hall, Cultural Hall meet Branden Campbell. This episode almost didn’t occur but thanks to Brigham Young and Duran Duran we were able to see this one through. (Listen to the episode you’ll get it)
We anticipate a lot of new people finding The Cultural Hall so we want to let you know what The Cultural Hall is. Its a place where we discuss Mormonism with people who are Mormon. None of this endorsed by the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day saints, but all guests and hosts are members of the LDS church.

I’m not going to lie, I am not very familiar with the Neon Trees, so I spent half of the podcast thinking that Branden was Tyler. I am better educated now. And I thank you for that.

A note on this episode: I’m a little confused why you would pull out and read an editorial about a conference talk and then not be prepared to respond or comment. I did not feel that Elder Andersen contradicted himself in the examples that he shared. If you read or watch the talk, it clearly illustrates conversations between husband and wife as well as inspiration (getting a prompting that you’d have another child; reading an article in a church magazine and then seeking counsel from a church leader). I really appreciated his talk. The main message was that couples should make bearing children a matter of prayer and faith as well as discussion – it often does require a leap of faith! If Greg is hoping to hear something different in Conference than was already stated in “The Family: A Proclamation to the World,” that the commandment to multiply and replenish the earth remains in force, I think he’s going to continue to be disappointed.
Thanks again! I love the format and appreciate all the people who come on for interviews – it’s so interesting to hear how others choose to live their faith while they navigate careers, dating, being in the spotlight, etc.
