Therm…You know…The Gas Guy…no? How bout the Franklin Planner guy from the first Singles Ward? I’m sure that Daryn Tufts doesn’t mind being known as either of these characters, BUT there is so much more to him. He’s like an onion. He has many layers.

In this episode we learn about Daryns adventure from Southern California to Ricks College (Now BYU-Idaho) and then FULL BYU…and beyond.

Should a Mormon Filmmaker make a Rated R film?

Daryn is a writer, director, actor, and New Scout Leader? Get to know Daryn like we did.

We’ll be saving a seat for ya.

Lauren, I don’t know what your problem is, the story of Joseph Smith refusing the alcohol is very clearly documented in the Living Scriptures video “Joseph and the First Vision.” Get a clue.
*this is where I make it very clear that I am joking*

Because you asked: Bushman in Rough Stone Rolling cites Lucy Mack Smith’s biography of Joseph as the source of the details of Joseph’s operation. “As she remembered the event, Lucy appealed to the doctors to cut out the diseased portion of bone instead. Lucy also remembered young Joseph refusing wine or brandy and assuring the doctors that cords were unnecessary…. When the pain first struck, Joseph Jr. cried out to his father, not to Lucy, and in refusing to be tied with cords, said, ‘I will have my father sit on the bed and hold me in his arms.’ He sent his mother from the room, telling her, ‘I know you cannot bear to see me suffer so; father can stand it, but you have carried me so much, and watched over me so long, you are almost worn out.'” (pp. 21, 22)
