For a long time I tried to figure out a way that I could get Gina Barberi in The Cultural Hall. Then came the Brigham City Temple open house. Gina has never been into an LDS temple….Take Gina into the Brigham City Temple Open House…then have her sit in The Cultural Hall and talk about the experience and answer any questions she has about the LDS church.

This episode is pretty “Doctrine-y” without having an ounce of Official Church Stance on anything. Lemme know how I did in handling her questions.

It’s Episode 59…A Catholic in The Cultural Hall.

We’ll be saving a seat for ya~The Cultural Hall

Excited to listen to this one. One thing though, you don’t introduce her on this page. You’re assuming that everyone knows she works with you at your day job and is on the morning show on X96.

So she found a nice mormon boy to take her to the temple.

I really enjoyed this podcast. You were both very open and respectful of each other, and that led to a good discussion. Richie you have an excellent interview technique and are able to listen and react to people without judgement. Great episode!

I’ve been a long-time (albeit very casual) listener to Radio from Hell. It was interesting to hear this interview. I’d love to hear more interfaith interviews where people ask each other questions.

I had a similar experience as a very young catholic girl; I didn’t have anything to confess and felt pressured to have a sin to talk about, so I stole someone’s pen just to have something to say. Left a bitter taste in my mouth about confession. Now I’m a Mormon.
