Hello Fall Family,

Okay…I thought Utah was pretty in the fall because of the mountains and leaves and such….but the MIDWEST TOTALLY wins the competition…Hehhe! 🙂 It is GORGEOUS here!!! There is a sunset that will take your breath away everynight! And trees EVERYWHERE! in EVERY COLOR!! Even HOT PINK!! :OP We see about 20 squirrels everyday. And at least 1 roadkill somewhere on the road a day too! Hehe 🙂 On Saturday, we heard something in the dumpster and there was a HUGE racoon lookin up at us when we peeked in. Then the next night…we were walking in our apartment, and my companion Freaked out because a POSSUM was right next to her foot!!! Hahahaha! I didn’t even know they existed! I thought they were just hats for hillbiillies! 😛 Anyways…it’s a fun time of year!!

TRANSFER TIME!!! I GOT A NEW COMPANION….SISTER C. FROM ____ ___, UTAH!!!! Oh my goodness. She’s perfect! We’re gonna work so well together because her testimony is SOLID!! She likes to excercise everyday, she gets up on time, She’s a patient teacher, she talks like “tour guide barbie!”, has an amazing work ethic, and likes to EAT!!! YEAH!! She’ll really help Peoria. We can get a baptism…I can feel it! 😀

Conference had the most powerful talks EVER this time!! IDK if it was because I was listening harder for mission advice, or if it was because I wasn’t stuck in the Utah bubble and I could see the problems of the world and how the advice was so perfect for us!!! :o) You should’ve seen me when President Monson made the announcement about sisters leaving when they were 19…. I was SOOO giddy! That was an answer to my prayers! Two years late….but it was still an answered prayer! I can’t wait to hear about my friends that have been waiting that can go now!! 🙂 The elders thought I was sneezing because I was randomly giggling during the talks… 🙂 YEEEEEYA FOR REVELATION!!!! What are all the freshmen BYU girls going to do now? haha the RM’s are gonna have to date the older ladies now! Which is SO GOOD! 😛

My favorite talk was about the Honey bees!!. I thought about Aunty Ester and our other cousins! I noticed how about 3/4th of the Talks were on the “Doctrine of Christ,” which is faith, repentance, baptism/sacrament, the Holy Ghost, and ENDURING to the End. That is what I eat, sleep, breathe, and study on my mission! So it was so neat to realize how the Gospel is totally Centered on those topics. 🙂

We watched part of the conference with the recent convert, Lakita, in her apartment, and I loved it so much! Because you watch it through a recent convert’s eyes!!! She kept sayin…”Uhhhhh huh! Aaaamen!” in that awesome Baptist style voice. 🙂 🙂 🙂 Then we watched the rest at the church. I realized how spoiled I was to have it on channel five without a satelite!! Lucky Utahns!! 🙂

I love my area! Please pray that we can find those elect investigators who are prepared for the gospel!!! We need as much as possible!

We had a general Authority come to Des Moines and prophecy that the Mid West is about to EXPLODE with new converts! It’s true…. we just had like 25 new missionaries come within the last 2 transfers. It’s getting huge! So LOOK FORWARD TO IT!! 🙂 🙂
