Hey New Yearsians!

Phew!Ā  What a weeeek!!! Well…I’ll start off with the good news….KEDRICK GOT BAPTISED!!! šŸ™‚ šŸ™‚ šŸ™‚ šŸ™‚Ā  I didn’t get to be there…again!! :SĀ  But hey, I’m just so grateful that he got to make that important promise to God. šŸ™‚ Then my second good news is that Paul is progressing and came to church.Ā  We had a really neat lesson with him at the Bishop’s home and he really opened up.Ā  He brought his girl friend’s kids to church all by himself.Ā  He’s so amazing and stalwart!Ā  We just really need some good home teachers to get him to feel more supported.

My companions headaches are so bad that she wakes up with a blanket over her head and can’t talk for several hours… šŸ™ She needs it to be quiet…which is really hard for me! Haha I like to talk. šŸ˜‰ I really like her though!Ā  She is so sarcastic and funny. šŸ™‚
She can’t concentrate in lessons…and so I ended up teaching pretty much all of the lessons this week. Wednesday was a really difficult day…not going to lie…sorry to be negative all of the sudden! :S We were blessed with teaching a lot of people, but I was stretched a lot because we weren’t united.Ā  But she ended up getting really desperate and cried out, “I just need to go home!” So after a long talk with president Jergensen every night of the week…she finally went home. šŸ™Ā  Poor thing! We took her to the airport on Saturday morning.Ā  It was hard saying goodbye, but it was worse to see her suffer, and she was really miserable being here.

Heavenly Father knew what I needed though because when we arrived home later, I got 3 letters from home and 2 packages! That is extremely rare!Ā  One of the letters was from my dance team from BYU saying they remembered me!Ā  yaya šŸ™‚ What a relief! haha! And a package was from a member in Peoria sending me a warm Penguin hat!! šŸ™‚Ā  It was definitely a tender mercy night. šŸ™‚Ā  He will always stretch us as far as we can go, and then will carry us to rest of the way!Ā  He always sends reminders that He loves us too, and how grateful I am for that!!!! šŸ™‚ šŸ™‚ šŸ™‚

My new companion is from Oregon!! Yaaay the coolest state! Ironically, she lived in South Jordan for 2 years before she came out too! She is 28, smiles a lot, kinda serious, a photographer, but is SUPER obedient!Ā  Which is my favorite characteristic to have in a companion because the spirit will always be present! šŸ™‚Ā  Her name is Sis. Tucker.Ā  Tobias and Tucker. T N’ T= Dynamite!!!! Woooh! šŸ™‚ So we’re basically “White Washing” the area.Ā  Good thing I have a GPS…haha we’re in for an adventure!! šŸ™‚ šŸ™‚ šŸ™‚

Well, Sure do Love you all!!Ā  Keep your mind forward focused and don’t dwell in the past year as you make new years Goals! šŸ™‚

Charity,

Sister Tobias šŸ™‚ Hehe šŸ™‚
