Brandt is a second-generation Mormon and is the “first” to do many things in his family, from go through the youth program to serving a mission to graduating from an LDS university. He also has been involved in Online Mormonism since 2007, whether it be blogging, podcasting or moderating social media groups. Brandt also runs the Mormon News Report, a daily rundown of that days top Mormon News since 2012, and the new Mormon News Report Podcast with co-host Brian Whitney. He lives in Detroit, Michigan with his wife and two daughters (both under the age of 4).
